Google API Services User Data Policy
Marathon Data uses internal automation tools that access Google user data via Google API Services. Marathon Data's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data accessed. Our internal tools, used solely by Marathon Data employees with their own Google accounts, may access the following Google user data when authorized by the account owner: Gmail messages and drafts (via the Gmail API, scope gmail.modify), Drive files (via the Drive API, scope drive), Google Docs (scope documents), Google Sheets (scope spreadsheets), Google Slides (scope presentations), Google Calendar events (scope calendar), and Google Tasks (scope tasks).
How data is used. Accessed data is used exclusively to perform automation requested by the authenticated account owner — drafting and labeling emails, creating and editing documents, scheduling events, and similar single-user productivity workflows. Data is processed locally on the employee's own device. We do not use Google user data to train AI models. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer Google user data to any third party except as necessary to provide the automation requested by the account owner (e.g., calling Google's own APIs).
Data retention. No Google user data is retained on Marathon Data servers. OAuth refresh tokens are stored encrypted on the employee's local device for the sole purpose of maintaining authenticated access; tokens are revoked on request or when the employee logs out.
Data deletion. To revoke Marathon Data automation tools' access to your Google data at any time, visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove the application. Local credential caches can be deleted with the application's logout command.
